Alexander promoted to Bridgeport Service Manager

Pat Alexander from our Gordon location has been promoted to Service Manager in Bridgeport. Pat replaces Ryan Amateis who has returned full-time to the family farming operation. Pat has been with the company since the purchase of the Gordon location in 2006 and he has served as a John Deere technician since 2002. He was raised in Vail, Colorado and following graduation attended college in Alaska for a year prior to joining the US Army. While in the Army, Pat was a member of the 82nd Airborne and learned how to jump out of a perfectly good airplane and land safely on the ground! Pat and his wife Melissa have five children and have relocated to Bridgeport.

Owen Palm presents Bridgeport Service Technician Bill Spencer a Certificate of Completion for the Aspiring Service Manager Course presented by Jerkins Creative Consulting. JCC is an industry management consulting firm that specializes in training for the agricultural equipment industry. Bill attended three 2-day sessions over the past year in Kansas City, MO and finished third in his class.

Douthit/Nau Training Awards

With the development of new technology and high-performance systems for John Deere equipment, it is critically important that customers receive exceptional service from highly-trained product experts, technicians, and aftermarket support personnel. 21st Century Equipment participates in a comprehensive training program with John Deere to help their employees reach certain standards of expertise. Recently, Mark Douthit, achieved Advanced Parts Manager status and Casey Nau earned the Advanced Service Technician level recognition. Both levels of achievement were accomplished by completing extensive training in the John Deere University program. Both Douthit and Nau are employees at the Bridgeport location.
