Two long-time Willamette Valley John Deere stores have changed their names and locations, to serve you from a single, new facility, located in Donald. St Paul’s Ernst Hardware, established in 1901, and Woodburn’s Lenon Implement Company, established in 1917, are both part of the Fisher Farm & Lawn John Deere Dealership, and assumed the Fisher name upon their move.
Fisher's new facility sits on 9 acres, just west of I-5's exit 278, on a future major east-west arterial. In addition to being a convenient location for a large segment of our existing customer base, this location positions the company to take advantage of future growth opportunities. Dave Roth, Location Manager, states, “By combining the resources of the two stores, Fisher will be able to expand inventory and provide a higher level of service to our valued customers. It’s good for the company, and it’s good for the customer.”
Area communities will find Fisher to be a good neighbor. They have installed a charcoal-filtered water recovery system in the service area, which will return clean water back to the environment; they purchased all landscape plant materials from local nursery growers; and they are making their large conference room available for use by agriculture-related organizations in the area.
Donald Fisher Farm & Lawn will celebrate the opening of their new store with an open house on June 20.
