The 540/540 Economy PTO allows you to select the engine rpm that is needed for your PTO application. The economy PTO provides 540 rpm to the PTO at 1700 engine rpm. This is ideal for any PTO application, from running a mower conditioner to a baler or a cutter, where full horsepower is not needed.

Operating at lower engine rpm decreases your fuel costs - up to 28%. And the overall operating experience improves because there is less noise and vibration.

Of course, you can also select the standard PTO setting for those demanding tasks that require the full PTO horsepower. This selection gives 540 rpm to the PTO at 2400 engine rpm and delivers the fully advertised horsepower at rated engine speed.
