| | | For the 3rd Annual Kentucky Farm Women Field Day, registration was be held from 12:00 - 3:15 pm ET at the Zoo Front Entrance; Ride and Drive John Deere Equipment in the Oasis Tent Area was held from 12:00 – 3:30 pm ET; and then everyone convened in the Oasis Tent at 3:45 pm ET for the field day kick-off and introductions. We were thrilled to be have our 3rd Annual Kentucky Farm Women Field Day at the Louisville Zoo, which sits on 100 plus acres of land with hundreds of varieties of exotic and natural plants, trees and grasses spread throughout. The zoo has over 1,300 animals exhibited in beautiful natural settings. Favorites include giraffes, elephants, gorillas, lions, tigers, penguins, pygmy hippos, orangutans, reptiles, hundreds of colorful birds and many more. The Louisville Zoo was honored to be the site of the field day and the team members were proud to showcase the award-winning zoo! The zoo opened at 10:00 am ET; and many of the field day participants explored the zoo before the field day! There were educational activities for the children throughout the zoo that afternoon so the women could enjoy the event. |

The 540 Economy is ideal for any PTO application, from running a mower conditioner to a baler or a cutter, where full horsepower is not needed. Operating at lower engine rpm decreases customers' fuel costs during tasks. And the overall operating experience improves because there is less noise and vibration for the operator. |
| | | A conveniently located lever allows the operator to simply change between 540 and 540E when conditions merit the opportunity to save fuel without affecting performance. For heavy-duty operations that require maximum PTO power, the PTO shift lever is placed in the 540 position, the PTO engaged, and the engine is run at rated speed of 2400 rpm. This selection gives 540 rpm to the PTO shaft and delivers the fully advertised horsepower at rated engine speed. |

Hartland Equipment has again reached Gold Star certified status from John Deere by completing the company’s Commercial and Consumer Equipment Gold Star Performance Standards Program. Launched in spring 2003, the Gold Star Program offers a baseline of performance standards created for John Deere dealers to help add value to their customers’ experience. Dealers are evaluated every year. Hartland Equipment was evaluated and surpassed John Deere standards in the five Gold Star categories: Sales/Marketing, Customer Support, Operational Management, Retail Environment and Employee Development. |
