The qualified candidate must have knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and electronics. Candidate must have excellent problem solving skills, the ability to communicate technical information and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to read and interpret operating manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints and mechanical sketches.

The ideal candidate will have a high school education or equivalent, in addition to one of the following: two years technical training and two years experience, or three year apprenticeship, or four to five years of hands-on experience.
