Known as Jackson-Lee Inc. at the time Bill Pearson joined the John Deere firm in March 1972, with Pete Jackson and Bill Lee changing the name to Jackson-Lee-Pearson, Inc.


In 1979, Pete Jackson and Bill Pearson bought out Bill Lee, but kept the name Jackson-Lee-Pearson, as it still is today. Then in 1989, Pete Jackson retired, leaving Bill Pearson as sole owner of Jackson-Lee-Pearson, Inc.


In 1991, Jackson-Lee-Pearson, Inc. purchased the Frankfort store, formerly known as Farmer's Service & Equipment, from Bob Perry and Tom Daniels. After graduating from Ball State University in 1993, Bill's youngest son, Jason, started in the John Deere business and currently manages the Frankfort location.
