Meet The Pender Implement Team

General Manager & Owner- Russ Allen: Russ is the General Manager and Owner of Pender Implement. He also specializes in Customer Care. He has been serving Pender and the surrounding area for 28 years. Russ said that he learned from the School of Hard Knocks and is still in that continuing education field. He and his wife, Laurie, have 2 children; Brooke, who is working in the Business Office, and Reed, who is attending Drake University, and one grandson, Drew. Russ enjoys collector cars, Corvettes, Harleys, landscaping and boating.

Parts & Service- Matt Heineman: Matt is the Parts Manager at Pender Impl. and is from Thurston, NE. He has served here for 13 years. Matt has completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from UNL. He and his wife, Krista, have 3 children; Austin, Sydney, and Reece. Matt enjoys farming, Husker sports, and watching his kids play sports.

Parts & Service- Jeff Smith: Jeff specializes in service and warranties and is from Thurston, NE. He has been at Pender Impl. for 9 years now. His wife's name is Carol and they have twin daughters; Ashley and Amber. His hobbies are working with computers and video film transfer.

Parts & Service- Marie Sunderman: Marie specializes in the Parts Department and is from Emerson, NE. She has worked at Pender Impl. for 8 years and says she receives special training every day. Her husband is Mike Sunderman and they have a son, Andrew. She enjoys camping and riding motorcycles.

Parts & Service - Kellie Fillipi: Kellie is the newest member to our Parts Department. She is from Pender and has a degree in Business from Northeast Community College. Daughter of Milon and Dawn, she also has two brothers and a sister. A social butterfly, she loves playing in the Wednesday beer leagues - softball, bowling & shuffleboard, as well as golfing, fishing, and 4-wheeling.

Parts & Service- Paul Powley: Paul works in the Parts Department and is from Pender. Paul has been serving you for 4 years now. His wife's name is Teresa and they have 2 daughters; Sheena and Kayla. Paul's hobbies include cars, working at home, and riding motorcycles.

Parts & Service- Dawn Fillipi: Dawn is a Service Clerk from Pender. She has worked here for 9 years and specializes in timecards and billing. Her hobbies include skydiving, flying, and professional bullriding.

Sales- Mike Gatzemeyer: Mike is the Sales Manager at Pender Implement. He is from Pender and has worked here for 18 years and has received special training in Skid Steers and Sprayers. Mike's wife is Glenda and they have 3 sons; Cory, Bryan, and Andrew. Mike's hobbies include camping and fishing.

Sales- Tom Liakos: Tom is from Pender and specializes in AMS (Agricultural Management Solutions). He has worked at Pender Implement for 20 years now. Tom attended Kansas State University for 3 years. He and his wife, Dayleen, have 2 children; Misty and Tony. Tom enjoys woodworking and cooking. He is also a youth wrestling coach for the Pender KidDragon Wrestling Team.

Sales- Dean Carlson: Dean is a Sales Representative from Pender. He has served at Pender Impl. for 6 years. He attended SOHK (School of Hard Knocks) State University. He and his wife, Dana, have 2 children; Danielle and Todd. Dean's hobbies include golf during the spring, summer, and fall and playing cards in the winter.

Sales - Scott Ostrand: Scott has been working as a salesman at Pender Implement for 2 years now and lives here in Pender. He attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont and has 3 kids: Matthew, Trentin, and Jadin. His hobbies include John Deere toy and memorabilia collecting, and attending his kids' ball games, soccer games, wrestling matches, golf meets, and trap shooting competitions. He claims to specialize in underwater welding and is sad that his current job doesn't offer him the opportunities to practice more.

Business Office- Brooke Allen: Brooke has been serving us in the business office at Pender Implement for 4 years now. She has completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from UNL. She lives in Pender with her son, Drew. Her hobbies include reading, walking, and playing with Drew.

Service- Paul Schopke: Paul is the shop foreman at Pender Implement. He has worked here for 23 years and lives in rural Pender. Paul attended Northeast Tech Community College. He and his wife, Janet, have 3 children together; Rachael, Sarah, and Eric. Paul enjoys fishing, horses, and spending time with his kids.

Service- Adam Jech: Adam is Pender Implement's Transportation Coordinator and all around good guy. He is "self-taught" and specializes in doing whatever needs to be done. Adam, or Betty, as he is known around here for his outstanding cookie-making skills, lives outside of Wayne with his wife, Brook, and their three daughters, Tia, Felicity, and Ellie. Adam enjoys hunting, church activities, and attending his girls' school events.

Service- Ron Vanek: Ron is a technician from West Point, NE that specializes in all tractors. He has been with us for 11 years. Ron has completed a 2 year course at Northeast Tech Community College. His wife is Carol Vanek and they have 2 children; Jeremy and Ryan. Ron enjoys golfing, hunting, Husker sports, and boating.

Sales & Service - Reed Allen, son of Russ and Laurie, has been working at Pender Implement for over 8 years. He is currently attending Drake University in Des Moines majoring in Business Management and Accounting. Reed enjoys going to car shows, boating, jet skiing, and wakeboarding, no matter how many concussions it involves.

Kirk Nelson - Service: Kirk has been working here at Pender Implement since 1998. He lives North of Thurston with his wife, Peggy, and their two children; Korbyn and Olyvia. His hobbies are hunting and four-wheeling. Kirk a.k.a. "Thor" loves to work on combines and also enjoys the ballet and Broadway musicals.

Service- Rick Heller: Rick is a technician from Wisner, NE that specializes in electrical troubleshooting in tractors and tractor repair. He has served 12 years here and has earned the title of Advanced Service Technician from John Deere University. Rick attended Northeast Tech Community College in Norfolk and has attended several schools on tractor diagnostics and computer training to help diagnose all equipment. His wife's name is Mardell and they have 2 children; Marcus and Stacy. Rick enjoys hunting, fishing, horses, and taking care of his acreage.

Service- Justin Corwine: Justin is a technician from Pender that specializes in combines. He has been here for 5 years. Justin attended Northeast Community College in Norfolk and has received special training in electrical, Service Advisor, hydraulics, and 60 series combine diagnostics. Justin enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and boating.

Service - Kimball Kunze: Kimball has been a member of the PI team for 2 years now, with nearly 30 years of Deere experience. He graduated from Northeast Tech with a Diesel Technician degree and has also earned the title of Advanced Service Technician from John Deere University. Kim has 2 sons, Ryan and Keith, and lives in Onawa with his wife, Mary. Kimball's nickname is "Tweet" or "Tweeter" and his hobbies include tractor-pulling, singing, dancing, watching sports, camping, and going to county fairs. Kimball says he enjoys working here at PI.

Service- Lee Peterson: Lee is a technician from Rosalie. He has been with us at Pender Implement for 4 years now and specializes in older tractors. Lee enjoys hunting, target shooting, going to mud runs, and snowmobiling.

Service- Kyle Keagle: Kyle is a service technician from Wakefield, NE that specializes in transmissions and 8000-8030 & 7000-7030 Series tractors. He has been at Pender Implement for 8 years. Kyle took a John Deere Ag Tech program at Southeast Community College in Milford and has an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Kyle is yet another of our technicians to have earned the title of Advanced Service Technician from John Deere University. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, ATV's, and farming during his time off.

Service - Brian Johnson: Brian has been working as a technician for nearly 3 years now at PI and plans to attend sprayer training. He lives near Wayne, NE with his wife, Leslie, and young sons, Brett and Tyler. He farms on the side and enjoys 4-wheeling, fishing and spending time at his family's cabin in Canada.

Service- Doug Roeber: Doug is a set-up and reconditioning technician from Emerson. He has been at Pender Implement for 9 years. Doug has a Mechanic Degree from Western Iowa Tech and he and his wife, Kim, have 3 children; Kayla, Michelle, and Jenna. His hobbies include farming, hunting, and golf.

Service- Alan Hoffman: Alan is a diesel technician from West Point, NE that specializes in combines, planters, and round balers. He has worked here for 7 years and also completed a college degree from Northeast College. Alan and his wife, Marcia, have a daughter, Emily. He enjoys racing go-carts and cars.

Service- Ray Sanderson: Ray is a service technician from Thurston. His area of expertise is in everything, so he says. He has worked at Pender Implement for 11 years. Ray has attended John Deere University for special training in a number of areas including Skid Steers and has earned the title of Advanced Service Technician. He and his wife, Angela, have three children, Colton, Nathaneal, and Shaylee. Ray's hobbies include hunting and working outside. Ray loves working at Pender Implement.

Service- Jeremy Vanek: Jeremy is a new service technician from West Point. He went to school for auto mechanics, but has adapted quickly to the diesel side. He says he'll work on anything and everything. Son of Ron & Carol Vanek, he also has a younger brother, Ryan. His hobbies include working on pickups, drinking beer, and long walks on the beach.

Service- David Fendrick: David has been a service technician here at Pender Implement for one year now. He has a diesel degree from Wyotech and specializes in combines, balers, and planters. Dave is the son of Ron & Dee Fendrick and has a younger sister, Ashley. He enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, four-wheeling & scrapbooking.

Service- Spencer Tullberg: Spencer is one of our newest tractor techs; he's been with us for one year. He is from Wakefield, Nebraska and went to school at Northeast Community College. Son of Dennis and Melia, Spencer has two sisters, Alissa and Shay. His hobbies include building cars & pickups, fishing, racing, and collecting spoons from all the places he's visited.

Service- Delwin Suhr: Delwin is a Truck Driver for Pender Implement. He is from Pender and has been working here for 5 years. Delwin and his wife, Leslie, have 3 children; Darin, Leannette, and LeEtta. They also have 5 grandchildren; LaShayna, Evan, Adam, Dalton, and Dylan. His hobbies include camping and boating. Every summer, Delwin takes his bow and arrow and hunts for bear in the Rockies and on the cold nights in the cave he works on his latchhook designs.

Service- Tom Ballard: Tom is our newest truck driver here at PI. He's been with us for less than a year. He went to school in Wakefield, and currently lives in Pender. He and his wife, Diann, have two kids. His hobbies include fishing, camping, boating, flying kites and picking wild blueberries for his world-famous "Ballard's Blueberry Fairy Pie."

Service- Steve Obermeyer: Steve has been with the Pender Implement team nearly 2 years already and is working as a tractor technician. Steve graduated from Northeast Community College and lives on an acreage near Wakefield with his wife Debra. His hobbies include working on muscle cars and horses.

Service- Trevor Bonneau: Trevor is a setup and reconditioning technician who specializes in building fertilizer systems for planters and reconditioning equipment. He has worked at Pender Implement for nearly 8 years now. Trevor lives in the country near Rosalie with his wife, Erin, and their two daughters, Isabella and Natalie. His hobbies include 4-H with family and his cow-calf operation. Trevor says he can build about anything you want to build!

Service- Geovany Montenegro: Geo is new to Pender Implement this year as a wash tech. Geo is from West Point, and in his free time participates in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) training and fighting, as well as soccer and video games.

Service- Casey Reppert: Casey has been with us for a year and a half as a mower technician. Casey is a new graduate from Pender and will be attending Northeast Community College this August. His hobbies include painting and racing. His idol is Bob Ross and in his free time he paints outdoor scenes on tractors, practicing his "happy little trees."

Sales & Service- Kevin Kaser: Kevin has been a member of the Pender Implement team for nearly 2 years. Kevin lives in rural Pender with his wife Audrey and has two children, Cassandra and Lauren. Kevin has specialized in raising hogs and won the 100 year Pioneer land owner award. Doesn't he look good for his age? His hobbies include watching sports and he enjoys visiting and telling jokes with people.
